President – Mike Dunlap has been directly involved in the sales profession since 1982, after graduating from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX. Through the course of his career he has sold, managed sales teams and developed many successful sales and marketing programs.
In 1996 he opened Dunlap Marketing because of his interest in the prospecting and business development phase of the sales process. It was evident to Mike that this was the least desirable phase to most sales people, but it was a very critical phase that required attention.
The idea has proven to be very successful as Dunlap Marketing continues to successfully support many companies and their sales professionals.
Mike has been married since 1986 to his wife Meegan and together they are raising three daughters.
Outside of work Mike and Meegan enjoy giving back to the community. They dedicated 5 years to working with The Children’s Fund, a non-profit organization that supports at risk children. Mike’s passions include water skiing and he is a member of USA Water Ski. He also operates a ministry of teaching families how to water ski as part of a summer camp curriculum at Pine Cove at Crier Creek.
Mike has been an active member of the Houston West Chamber of Commerce since 1998 serving as a past Board member. He is currently a committee member of the Chambers annual Star Awards event.
