Dunlap Marketing

Dunlap Marketing began when our founder and president, Mike Dunlap, realized the least favorable part of the sales cycle is prospecting for new business. Having 14 years of sales leadership under his belt at the time, Mike launched Dunlap Marketing in 1996. With the goal of solving a problem most sales teams have, Dunlap Marketing became a solution to ensuring sales funnels stay full, by giving companies the opportunity to outsource appointment setting and lead generation services.

Leadership Team

Mike Dunlap, Founder and President

Mike graduated with a marketing degree from St. Edward’s University, in Austin, Texas, in 1982. A few years later, he and his wife got married – they now have three grown daughters. When it comes to business, Mike’s passion is in helping companies grow. He has almost 40 years of experience specifically in early phase business development and prospecting. Mike spends his free time water skiing or participating in endurance outdoor activities (such as the 2012 Ironman Triathlon he competed in). He believes time is best spent with a glass of wine in hand and watching a beautiful sunset with family and friends – emphasis on the wine!

Micah Garcia, Operations Manager

Micah has been at Dunlap Marketing since 1999 – he recalls working to prepare for Y2K. His favorite part of his role on the Dunlap leadership team is being the “air traffic controller” and having a hand in almost everything. He also thoroughly enjoys hearing a team member set the first appointment of the day. When he’s not acting as Dunlap Marketing’s air traffic controller, Micah enjoys raising his daughters, boxing, roller-coasters, and being the Texas Hold’em champion of the world! On weekends, it’s common to find him smoking meats on his offsite smoker and cheering on the Houston Astros – GO ‘STROS!

Kaitlin Dunlap Cuevas, Business Development and Project Manager

Kaitlin is a Texas A&M graduate with a passion for hard work, optimism, and helping others. Her role at Dunlap includes business development, account management, and being a “sponge” (aka – learning the business from her father, Mike). Along with her work at Dunlap Marketing, Kaitlin also serves as Vice President for the Houston chapter of a national business-to-business marketing association, ANA Business Marketing | Houston. Outside of work, you can find Kaitlin running, teaching indoor cycling classes, traveling with her husband, or playing with her dog, Guppy (Honestly, mostly just playing with Guppy!).

Our Team

One of the benefits of working with Dunlap Marketing is utilizing our experienced team. All our staff are W2 employees who work inside our brick and mortar office in Houston, Texas. Dunlap does not outsource or telecommute any members of our team. On average, each team member has between 10-15 years of B2B telemarketing experience. The Dunlap team participates in weekly training sessions to further sharpen their skills and thoroughly love hearing feedback from clients!
